Victoria Plumb has enjoyed phenomenal success and expansion in recent years, and as part of our ongoing investment programme and to ensure continued growth and success we are now looking to strengthen our Supply Chain team by recruiting a Supply Chain Assistant

The Role:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an understanding of supply chain procedures within a fast moving environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the Supply Chain team with administrative support.

Responsibilities
*Assist in the preparation and application of a full range forecast for all company products
*Assign and maintain safety stock levels in accordance to SCM ruling
*Analyse and assign ABC stock classifications in accordance to SCM instruction
*Manage work order processes for all nominated items
*Identify and rectify all negative stock positions
*Develop and maintain KPI that demonstrate stock keeping movement and accuracies
*Design and create stock profile reporting process
*Ensure that regular communication is maintained with the Supply Chain department
*Maintain an effective business focussed working relationship with key internal customers
*Manage obsolete stock requirements - identification / removal
*Provide recommendations and input from a category perspective
*Work in conjunction with the Buying team to ensure effective supplier liaison of known issues

Skills & Experience
*Excellent communication skills
*Computer literate; competent in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Company systems and advanced level of Excel
*Experience of Sage systems would be advantageous
*Good analytical skills, being able to define both the problem and the solution
*A self-starter who is tenacious, disciplined and able to work alone as well as within a team
*Good numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
*Experience gained in Forecasting & Planning environment
*Ability to communicate, work as part of a team and build relationships with key stakeholders
*Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
*Motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experience
