Employing over 40,000 people world wide this long established company now seeks a talented Junior Support Developer to join their UK business based out of Macclesfield, Cheshire. This comprehensive company whose service and product offerings have a wide remit is actively looking for the best talent as a matter of urgency due to the business critical nature of this role.

Your key accountabilities will be to classify bugs & fixes into different severity categories and to deliver bug fixes within set SLAs for customers. To monitor the performance of software applications/website. To ensure that all applications are documented to allow support to be carried out on the applications. The successful candidate will have a background in software support or software development. You will have fantastic communication and customer service skills.

Technically you will have exposure to ASP.NET and C#.

Other desired technical skills include HTML, JavaScript, XML/XSLT, SQL server.

Whilst this role involves bug fixing and testing there is solid opportunity to progess into a fully fledged development role as part of your progression plan. Due to the support element of this role there will be a level of on-call duties, you will be renumerated accordingly for this.
