At Yeo Valley we are independent, British & proud to be making the highest quality yogurts, desserts & ice cream for Yeo Valley Organic as well as for many of the UK's major retailers. Operating from 4 dairies & 2 logistics centres in rural Somerset & Devon, we employ over 1600 staff & produce more than 22% of the UK's yogurt.

We are looking to recruit a strong, energetic Manager who is looking to develop and grow with the business.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be supervising a team of eight (4 direct reports). This role will be to support the Commercial team by providing direction, idea's & leadership on all Commercial based financial decisions to increase profitability . You will control Commercial/ Marketing expenditure including all promotional funding.
Duties include: Costing for all categories (yogurt, dairy, desserts and Ice-cream), Sales budgets and ½ year forecasts, profitability reporting, preparing and presenting at bi-monthly category review meetings for each category, liaison with central finance, site accountants and heads of Category.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm

Essential:
CIMA, ACA or ACCA, Qualified
Excellent communication and negotiating skills
The ability to deal with challenging situations
Reporting and presentation skills
Proven experience of Leadership and supervisory skills
Experience with analysis, budgeting and forecasting
Flexibility regarding hours
Desirable:
Previous FMCG experience
Previous commercial experience
