Business Analyst - MI/IM and Regulatory experience
Role type: Contractor

The role requires:- elicitation, documentation, verification and management of a variety of requirement types to time, cost and quality criteria following the Business Analysis Practice standards and processes, enabling business and technical change within a project environment.

* Experience of IM methodology and lifecycle.

* Gathering and managing requirements
* Performing systems and business analysis
* Defining As-Is & To-Be states for Information/Technology/Process at appropriate detail level and Organisation at high-level
* Facilitating or actively taking part in workshops with Business Users and Stakeholders
* Identifying a business need/challenge/question and eliciting requirements from it
* Business intelligence end-user delivery via reports, scorecards dashboards etc
* Data Warehousing principles and best practice
* Awareness of Data Warehouse Systems architecture
* Understanding of operational reporting
* Performing high-level Impact Assessment for Process/Technical Changes
* Assessing at high-level the value to the business of delivering a requirement
* Managing business stakeholder expectations
* As a Business Analyst, you will be working within the Business Analysis Practice on IM/MI initiatives and will be an expert at estimating, planning and documenting business processes and requirements to time, cost and quality, in line with the organization's and Industry-wide standards.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

* Proven business analysis experience working on MI or Regulatory projects in the financial services or telecommunications industry.
* Influence and engage with senior stakeholders
* Experience in Gathering Requirements, Process Mapping, Process Modelling
* Expert knowledge of analysis tools, methodology and best practice and be able to apply structured analysis expertise on assigned projects
* End to end project lifecycle experience (MI)
* Experience of Regulatory reporting
* Awareness of current and future trends and developments in the IM, MI, BI and Regulatory Reporting field.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

* Relevant professional qualification in analysis disciplines, such as ISEB modules/diploma
