Hours: 8am-4.45pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-1pm Friday/ 8.30am-5.15pm Mon-Thurs, 8.30-1.30pm Friday

Our client requires a temporary Procurement Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis

Day to Day duties will include the following:
* Order expediting
* Value stream mapping (business process improvement)
* Inventory control
* Order placement on direct & indirect materials standard operating procedures, SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance) certificate of conformity
* Project Management

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
* Will have a positive drive and attitude towards their work
* Drives for operational excellence and business results
* Customer focus
* A team player who fosters open communication, values learning and is able to build employee effectiveness
* Has self-reliance and the drive to succeed and motivate others
* Computer literate - A good working knowledge of all MS Office Products. Mapics experience is desirable.
* Evaluating total costs of acquisitions
* Engineering bill of materials
* Be able to read engineering drawings
* Tender processes (RFx)
* Material Price Variance
* MRP experience
