Position: Senior Sales Manager - Corporate
Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing
Job Outline: To manage current accounts and generate new business revenue towards individual set targets, contributing to the overall profitability of the hotel.
To work closely with the DOSM ensuring successful leadership of the sales team, along with developing strong client relationships, delivering outstanding customer service at all times and successfully growing the corporate market.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage time to ensure 60% account management and 40% acquisition of new business.

Identify and secure new corporate accounts with proven results.

To ensure exceptional attention to detail, time management skills and the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.

To develop and implement tactical telesales approaches to generate new business.
To ensure action plans are developed and maintained for all managed accounts.
To penetrate all revenue streams e.g. conference and banqueting revenue, food and beverage, group potential from corporate account base.
Develop excellent long lasting working relationships with clients.
To attend trade exhibitions, networking events and regular evening familiarisation trips.
To ensure a minimum of 25 telesales calls and 8-10 appointments are achieved on a weekly basis.
To be actively involved in the creation and implementation of the annual sales plan.
To show strong leadership skills and provide continued support for the sales team, to ensure an overall profit is generated from the sales department for the hotel.

Manage RFP season with support of the DOSM.

To keep up to date with industry news and the competition set at all times.

The successful candidate will be passionate and tenacious with the ability to recognise and resolve problems as they arise.

As the hotel's level of business varies considerably, there is a need for flexibility in attitude, approach and working hours.
