THE BUSINESS
Mackenzie Stuart is currently working in cohesion with a top 10, multidisciplinary UK Construction and Infrastructure Service Provider with precise plans for further development. The business are currently seeking to appoint a senior person with particular characteristics in managing and leading major bids; these schemes will value £50m + in the rail and highways sector for the Highways Agency or Network Rail.

THE ROLE
* Identification and generation of business opportunities in accordance with the company's business strategy translate these to successful tendering opportunities.
*You will be responsible for ensuring that all processes related to work winning are consistent and effective across the bid team.
* You be proficient in presenting bid presentations to large highway clients (highways agency and Network Rail)
* You will have a proven track record in the Highways or Rail sector working on tenders valuing c£50m and will clearly have a defined past win rate where you have run, led and managed a major project bid pre construction process.
* Developing good working relationships and promoting the companies capability to existing and prospective clients across the sector.
* Ensuring team develop robust commercial, technical and risk management strategies to win the tenders successfully, but paramount to ensure margins are not too thin just to win the bid.

KEY EXPERIENCE
* Will have a solid track record as a work winning professional in the construction industry, ideally with a contractor involved in civil engineering.
*You will be an established hands on expert, offering bidding advice on large multimillion pound frameworks.
* Be a team player, aim to over achieve thriving to be the best at what you do.
* As a major player in the pre construction team, you will be technically gifted when comprising bids and know how to offer expert advice to ensure contracts are successfully bid for and won.
