Our client, a large distribution company based near Reading, Berkshire has a brand new opening for a part qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Management Accountant to join their team. Candidates will have at least 2 years experience within a similar role and be a graduate (ideally with a maths degree). Duties will include:
Weekly gross margin analysis by Product Category
Weekly data analysis of sales by Product Category
Weekly review of cost of sales and investigation of all loss making/and variances
Review of weekly exchange rate impact on sales/cost of sales/margin
Weekly review with Finance and Product Managers
Supporting the Senior Management Accountant with profit and loss account
Balance sheet accounts reconciliation
Bank reconciliation daily/weekly/monthly
Daily reporting to the Bank
Vat returns/intrastats
Preparing audit folders/year end for Auditors as well as an array of other adhoc tasks
This is a highly analytical role and as such we are only looking for candidates who have the ability to deal with large volumes of data and have an advanced knowledge of Excel and a good eye for detail hence us ideally looking for a maths graduate.
