THE COMPANY: Expanding automotive aftermarket organisation.
THE LOCATION: Southern UK
THE ROLE: This is an opportunity for an all round Marketing Manager with experience across a business to business (B2B) environment to join an entrepreneurial, ambitious company operating within the automotive aftermarket sector. The role will oversee a small team, it will offer strategic insight and delivery but will also need to take a hands on approach to personally delivering specific areas of the organisations on-going marketing activities.
The main purpose of the role is the:
* Management of the Company`s marketing department across a number of business functions and units.
* Management and development of relevant communication programmes with strong links to the sales teams and a positive contribution to the growth of the business.
* Development of the Brand to achieve the maintenance and development of the corporate identity.
* Build brand awareness with customers, staff and suppliers.
* Ensure communication of key messages to relevant target groups.
* Management of the Company`s overall marketing communication programmes including but not limited to: Advertising, Public Relations, Direct Mail, E-Newsletters, Website, Development of new communication channels e.g. social networking sites: Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin etc and New Product Development.
* Development and consistent implementation of marketing strategy reflecting current business and market trends.
* Working in partnership with the Sales Teams (internal & external) to deliver sustainable and profitable business.
* Strong analytical and reporting skills working with data to drive business performance directly and indirectly.
* Strategic foresight but with a `hands-on` approach.
Candidate duties will include and be involved in Marketing Communications, Marketing literature, PR Website/Online presence, Market Research, Agencies, Print Management, Promotional Gifts, Customer Service, Market Plans and Budgets.
Candidates will need to have a good general marketing overview, a good leader who can demonstrate an open and inclusive management style and able to convey a passion and enthusiasm for Marketing.
Although this is a highly visible role which will have a real opportunity to grow and develop with the business and define the marketing landscape and vision for the future of this business and brand, the successful individual must be able to adopt a hands-on attitude and approach when required to achieve the business objectives.
