An opportunity to join a leading Social Housing contractor based in the West Midlands
Role description
As Gas Service Manager you will be overseeing a team of up to 30 engineers and contractors covering a service and repair contract for Social Housing properties in the West Midlands.
* The Gas Service Manager ensures delivery of performance measures, in line with internal and external targets; whilst maintaining and developing Stakeholder relationships and expectations
* To ensure that all work on site is delivered safely and that all relevant staff has the full knowledge to undertake all tasks required, in accordance with regulations and company / client guidelines.
* Provides expert advice, technical support and effective solutions to key safety and technical issues.
* Liaises closely with Operational Management to provide solutions to technical issues and complaints as required.
* Ensures that all newly qualified engineers and contractors are fully compliant and can demonstrate competence through all safety assurance processes.
* Ensures that local operations have Technical Operational Procedures updates and the relevant Tool Box Talks.
Who we're looking for
The Ideal Gas Service Manager candidate will have experience managing a Gas service and repair team on Social Housing contracts.
- Knowledge and understanding of all business and service centre key performance indicators.
- Aware of the commercial aims and objectives of the business.
- Understand the corrective action and GS&UIR policies.
- Understand good housekeeping for data protection and information security requirements.
- Qualified in Gas Installation and Use categories holding necessary ACS certification and Government appointed regulatory body registration.
- Hold or be willing to work towards an appropriate coaching, training and facilitation qualification.
