The Role:
We are looking for a smart, self-motivated Account Manager / Senior Account Manager with solid experience in Corporate public relations. As part of the Corporate and Financial team at Edelman London, the role will involve working on a mix of Corporate clients.

Responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining relationships with the media
Writing press releases, articles and other PR materials
Day-to-day reporting, monitoring and account handling
Dealing directly with clients on a day to day basis
Supporting senior account handlers as appropriate
Involvement in every aspect of creating and implementing innovative communications and stakeholder outreach programmes

Key Requirements:
Excellent writing skills. The ability to write clearly and effectively
Ability to think strategically and creatively
Initiative – an ability and willingness to make sound decisions and overcome obstacles without always deferring to a senior figure
Experience in the day-to-day requirements of account handling
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Ability to ‘sell a story’ and communicate confidently with the media
An understanding of the complexities of managing the corporate reputation across multiple stakeholders
Desire to work as part of a team in a busy, fast paced and highly motivated working environment
