The Company
Robert Half Finance & Accounting are working on behalf of a highly profitable UK wide business based in East Leeds in their recruitment of an Accounts Assistant with Credit Control duties on a temporary to permanent basis.
The Role
Reporting to the UK Financial Controller you will have a dual role, firstly responsible for the balance sheet reconciliations, month end involvement and purchase ledger duties. Secondly you will take responsibility for a section of the high value sales/debtor ledger. This person will be responsible for setting up new customers and credit checking/ setting credit limits, ensuring all billing invoices are accurate and sent out in accordance with payment terms, deal with any queries, chase overdue payments as well as allocating payments received. This is a busy and varied role which will allow the successful candidate a great opportunity for personal development.
In order to apply, applicants will be expected to:
- Have good knowledge of Credit Control
- Have previous experience of working in an accounts department at Month end
- Excellent communication skills
- A proven track record within a target driven environment
