My client, a leading brand in digital marketing, email marketing, data strategy and e-CRM are actively recruiting for a bright, enthusiastic Service Desk IT Support Analyst to join their friendly support function. Working as part of a fun, energetic team, the suitable Support Analyst will be handling all 1st and 2nd Line Support queries, providing clients with application, desktop and mobile support. A Technical Support based role, the suitable candidate will be liaising directly with clients, providing them with assistance on a multitude of SQL Server based applications.
The Support Analyst will be responsible for the smooth running of front of house applications, handling 1st - 2nd Line queries, escalating complex issues to the 3rd line support team.
Responsibilities:
* Using your knowledge of IT technology and communications to support all IT applications.
* To man the Helpdesk and be the go to person for all 1st and 2nd line incidents.
* To work closely with 3rd party vendors to maintain the integrity of our business application servers and information databases.
* Recommend changes in line with developing technologies and the IT Strategy.
To be considered, the suitable Service Desk IT Support Analyst must have excellent communication skills, adopt a genuine pro-active approach to work and be prepared to work hard to achieve their goals.
Skills required:
* Solid general IT skills
* An understanding of relational database design and basic SQL skills.
* Microsoft SQL 2008 experience desirable.
* Technical skills of MS Windows desktops and office applications.
* Knowledge of Lyris or any bulk email engine is advantageous.
* Experience with HTML, XML and .NET is beneficial but not essential.
* Energetic, imaginative, creative, tempered, tenacious, solution provider essential
* An ability to adapt and respond calmly to constant challenges
* Willingness to learn
* Ambitious team player
* Belief in own ability yet aware of own limitations
* Enthusiastic, efficient and highly organised
