Our marketing team is undergoing a positive and exciting change. A new leadership team is now in place and we are working towards creating a world-class marketing function. To help us drive this change, we are looking for our marketing managers to help us shape, implement and deliver marketing strategies for our Service Lines and Segments. Our purpose is to help EY to win in the marketplace through deep client relationships,exploring major opportunities for revenue growth and consistent reputation building. You will be joining a dynamic new team that is determined to deliver a world-class service to our clients, internally and externally.

The Assurance marketplace is undergoing significant regulatory and business change. The introduction of major revisions to reporting standards (IFRS), the advent of audit rotation and new growth areas such as (Corporate Governance, Treasury) are re-shaping our business and our competitive landscape, creating a new set of market demands and big opportunities for EY.

With clients at the heart of everything we do, our marketing is focused on building influential client relationships with key buyers over their lifecycle and positioning our offerings to best win business. We are building high performing teams and recruiting the highest calibre marketing talent who will play a key role in helping EY deliver on its customer promise.

As a Marketing Manager, your role will include:
•To building and manage strong relationships with key sub-service line partners/leads and teams.
•To work across the specialist practices (Financial Accounting Advisory Services, Climate Change and Sustainability Services, Accounting Compliance and Reporting, Audit Services) in Assurance to identify, develop and promote our offerings that will position us to win major business opportunities.
•To develop, own and manage the sub-service line marketing plan/s and ensure that marketing activities support key business priorities/market opportunities.
•To partner with the business in the design and development of new solutions and value propositions, such as Treasury, Corporate Governance and Integrated Reporting.
•To develop, implement and control major campaigns to promote EY as the leading adviser in the marketplace.
•To join marketing project teams to explore innovative new ways to improve the performance of marketing in EY. An example of this is the creation of a new VIP client lounge for the Relationship Development programme.
•To collaborate with the BD team to support targeting activities that pursue new/retain existing clients.
•To work in a seamless manner with Assurance’s relationship development team to ensure the right content, campaigns and communications reach the right clients.
•To work closely with PR and the Social Media team to help improve our share of voice in the external marketplace on major Assurance issues and in wider promotional activities.
•To collaborate closely with our marketing colleagues across EMEIA and globally to ensure relevant content is generated and executed locally with a positive impact on key buyers and influencers.

Experience:
•Building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders and key stakeholder groups
•Marketing planning, implementation and control
•Customer-centric campaign management and marcomms activities
•Experience of working in a matrix organisation, balancing multiple stakeholder requirements
•Service line/segment/key buyer marketing
•Marketing management experience, ideally within a professional services environment
•A solid grounding in marketing principles, coupled with a strong commercial drive and the ability to deliver high-value marketing activities that deliver ROI.
•CIM qualified, or with a marketing or business degree (with a strong specialism in marketing) or equivalent
