Location: Studley
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000
Hours: 8.30am - 5pm

Day to Day duties will include the following:
* To man the optimisation desk as a duty trader and also be able to manage certain transactions while not on the desk
* To maintain prices database for the risk management of flexible clients
* Produce and maintain positions reports for flexible clients
* Make contact with the client as and when required
* Communicate the intra-day market direction and "official" market view on all open positions to Purchasing Officers/clients
* Negotiate with the suppliers based on observations around Risk Manager
* Make purchases according to each client's Risk Management Strategy in consultation with the client/after the approval of the client
* Obtain appropriate sign-offs as and when needed
* Trade entry in Risk Manager
* send trade report and the updated position report after the trade
* Be available for all queries
* Inform and update the clients about potential breach of their risk management triggers
* To support the purchasing office in the preparation of market analysis notes
* Research and propose alternative trading strategies
* Ensure reports follow brand guidelines
* Keep relevant individuals up to date with market developments
* Produce market analysis literature
* Offer training to colleagues as and when required

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
* Experience in Excel is a must
* Excellent communication skills
* Energy industry knowledge
* Experience of a trading environment
* Strong analytical skills
* Good written English and grammar skills
* Good organisational skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to plan and prioritise
* Team player
