Role:

The Brand Manager is responsible on a day to day basis for the effective implementation of all agreed marketing objectives, strategies and plans for the clients current 3 brands and new brands as the company grows.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and grow the Brands, this role covers the full marketing mix, with primary focus on Brand and New Product Development, Social Media Management and Retail Sales Support.

Key Responsibilities:
New Product Development

- Manage the day to day NPD/EPD process from concept through to launch
- Working with suppliers and using data, where available, study trends and key market innovations to drive a relevant yet profitable NPD Plan for each brand (include feasibility and profitability of launch)
- Post analysis reviews to be completed for all launches to understand forecasts and actual performance and make recommendations for future launches

Brand Communications Strategy

- Digital Communications / Public Relations Strategy
- Implement the Social media plans

Data / Insights

- Regular review of all available data insight tools and information. Work closely with Sales team and contracted Data Manager to ensure best use is made of available information

Sales / Retailer Support

- Working closely with the Sales team to develop support material for customers and distributors
- Communicate forthcoming NPD launches and provide relevant support material including sell-in sheets and presentations

Skills / Competence / Experience Required

- Minimum 2 years experience in the role of a Brand Manager within an FMCG Health and Beauty or closely aligned category
- Brand focused and product aware and orientated
- Digital experience (websites, social media)
- Budget management experience
- Resourceful and able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, with track record of improving financial and commercial performance at an operational level
- Highly organised with ability to handle pressure, achieve deadlines, critical decision making, and prioritise conflicting deadlines within a fast paced environment
