Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Water Recycling team as a Part Time Facilities Administrator for 22.5 hours per week at Canwick WRC in Lincoln. Reporting to the Treatment Manager you will provide facilities support for several offices at Canwick WRC made up of approximately 60 Anglian Water employees over a range of business units.

You will be responsible for the successful day-to-day running of the offices as well as occasionally providing operational support to the Treatment Manager. Managing the reception area you will maintain the H&S notice board and ensure the correct procedures are being adhered to with regards to signing in and out of the site. You will liaise with couriers and organise site mail as well as book meeting rooms and ensure that the site’s waste disposal is managed efficiently.

You will also conduct site inductions for new starters, visitors or contractors working in the offices and monitor site security and the allocation and control of site access keys. Tasked with updating site plans, running weekly fire alarm tests and arranging twice yearly fire evacuations you will also be required to assist the Incident Control Manager in any fire, chemical and bomb exercises carried out and would be responsible for the site safety inspections for the offices on site.

Requirements

You will need previous experience in a facilities administrative role and excellent verbal and oral skills as well as the ability to communicate with and manage the expectations of a variety of different people. Flexible and wiling to cover other roles as required with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude you will also be confident dealing with external contractors as well as internal stakeholders. Experience as a Fire Marshall and/or first aider would be a benefit but is not essential as training can be provided.
