Hours: 25 hours - 37 hours per week
Salary: £14,331 - £18,768 per annum

Our client now has a rare opportunity for a talented individual with both strong administration skills and excellent people skills. Within this varied position you will balance your time effectively between supporting the education team with full administration support and the facilitation of our learners' initial inductions and exams.

Our client is a leading Further Education College providing a comprehensive range of vocational, academic, professional and higher education courses. The College also delivers the Offender Learning and Skills Service (OLASS) Phase 4 contracts for East Midlands, West Midlands and South Central, providing education to 35 prisons across these 3 regions.

HMP Huntercombe is a category C Foreign National prison, with a current maximum capacity of 460 males over 21 years of age. As part of our client's expansion in Offender Learning they require a skilled professional for this post. They are looking for a talented individual to deliver learner success through effective teaching and delivery on numeracy programmes.

As the successful candidate you will:

Good basic general education including GCSE (or) equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above.
Hold an administration or customer services based qualification at level 2 or above (desirable).
Have proven previous experience in an administrative role.
Have proven customer services skills and experience.
Experience of working with students who may have little experience of education and training (desirable).
Good IT skills with experience of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email and internet systems.
Experience of induction and assessment IT packages (desirable).
Accuracy and precision in written presentation
