A blue chip chilled food manufacturer in the South West is currently seeking a Commercial Manager to manage their Tesco account for branded and own label goods.
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, the Commercial Manager with have line management responsibility for a Commercial Executive and will be responsible for driving the growth and development of the Tesco Account.
The successful Commercial Manager will have at least 5 years' relevant commercial experience including major multiple account management (Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons etc) & either experience in brand, category or customer marketing. Ideally you will have experience or significant knowledge of the food manufacturing or wider FMCG sector.
Key responsibilities of the Commercial Manager include:
Design, monitor & deliver the annual customer business plan
*Maintain the long term growth & sustainability of the business in line with the 3 year Commercial Plan.
*Co-ordinate effectively & efficiently terms, spend & profit across account portfolio.
*Ensure forecasting is timely and accurate.
*Manage promotional activity through the promotion process.
*Handle all relevant general administration to ensure the efficient day to day running of the account.
*Ensure all pricing information is accurate & all changes are implemented & communicated to minimise invoice queries.
*Monitor invoice accuracy & advertising deductions & take appropriate action.
*Plan, implement, monitor and review category and channel initiatives
