The Emergency Department have a Clinical Fellow position available, to start as soon as possible.
Alongside their medical staffing colleagues this role will be responsible for the initial reception and management of all categories of patients attending the Emergency Department.
He or she will play a major role in the clinical management of different areas of the department, supervising the junior medical and nursing staff, and liaising closely with the department Consultants and other specialties as appropriate.
The Clinical Fellow role includes opportunity for a secondment.
This position is for doctors with Emergency Medicine experience who wish to advance their career in Emergency Medicine. Posts are offered for twelve months.
You will-
Work on a 24 hour middle grade rota
A maximum of 3 months out of the year will be dedicated to continuing professional development comprising of secondments (whilst still providing key Emergency Department cover)
