An excellent opportunity has arrived for an experienced Quality Manager from a food manufacturing background to become part of the senior team at this dynamic international business operating in the Food Enhancers' category. They are seeking applications from candidates striving for a position where they can personally change things, continuously challenge the status quo, and drive products

As Quality Manager you will be responsible for;

* Managing quality assurance processes with respect to Food Safety, Allergen Control and HACCP and BRC.
* Ensuring that all quality policy, procedures, processes and systems are in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Participate in the development of process and quality systems improvement in Quality and food safety and assist in quality through active participation with plant quality and operational leadership.
* Managing direct report QA personnel with focus on talent development, performance
management and personal development.
* Promote a continuous improvement approach to improve product quality & reduce customer complaint levels year on year.
* Promote a continuous improvement approach to reduce waste/downgraded product and quality complaintS.

The successful Quality Manager will be;

* From a food/beverage manufacturing background
* Preferably have a degree in scientific food discipline
* From a HACCP/BRC environment
* Experience in personnel management
* Excellent organisational skills including time management and ability to effectively prioritise multiple projects
* Effective problem solving and decision making skills and behavioural capacity to develop commercially viable customer solutions.
