Hours: Part time 22 hours per week
The primary focus of this role is to support the procurement and supply chain team across all daily tasks and duties to ensure that optimum results are achieved. The successful candidate must have public sector procurement experience through european legislation (OJEU)
Day to day duties:
* Liaising with suppliers and clients to resolve/identify any queries
* Ensure that all schedules are accurate and that POs are issued on time
* Maintain the planned cost sheets ensuring that all information is accurate and up to date
* Provide support managing suppliers performance
* Provide support across a range of administrative duties
As a person you must have the following qualities:
* Previous administrative work experience (ideally within purchasing / supply chain)
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Self-starter and ability to prioritise
* Assertive
* Good team working
* Able to travel
* Commutable to Leicester
* Public sector procurement experience through european legislation (OJEU)
