SSE is looking for talented people with strong business change and internal communications experience to join the Retail Transformation Business Change team.

SSE's Retail Transformation Programme is delivering a range of multi-million pound projects to enable SSE to achieve its vision in areas such as smart metering, telecoms and digital services.

The Programme now has a number of roles available as Business Transformation Managers and Project Communications Managers to develop and deliver all business change activities which will enable successful implementation into the impacted business areas.

These key roles will report into the Business Change Leadership team as part of SSE's Business Change function, and work closely with the relevant project delivery teams.

Business Transformation Manager role(s)

To succeed in these exciting roles you will require a strong track record in delivering Business Change in complex programmes and have experience in the following:

delivering change against structured methodologies including business and systems implementations,

structured project management skills demonstrating management of risks and issues to ensure delivery of change plans into the business

managing budget and resource to deliver successfully

measuring effectiveness of change, and

developing structured organisation design and delivery

Communication Manager role(s)

To succeed in these exciting roles you will require a strong track record of internal communications development and delivery and experience in the following:
working in a change communications role in complex projects or programmes, ideally around business and systems implementations,
developing and delivering communication plans and materials to help ensure project success,
turning complex technical language into messaging appropriate for the audience,
delivering communications using a variety of channels, and
measuring the effectiveness of communications.

In addition, you will:

have an excellent command of written and verbal English
Strong facilitation and communication skills being able to translate messages for the business
be able to think strategically, with the overall programme vision in mind to relate the business change and communication needs

have great attention to detail,
have excellent influencing and negotiation skills, with the gravitas and credibility to engage business colleagues at all levels, and be extremely organised, with the ability to work on multiple activities with tight timescales

Location: Havant, Hampshire

Salary: up to circa £50,000 depending on skills and experience
