UK Product Manager- Hosting and Infrastructure

As the product manager for Hosting and IaaS, you will fully accountable for driving the performance of a strategic product portfolio, worth over £200M in the UK.
The hosting and IaaS portfolio includes product categories such as Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Private Cloud, managed hosting, storage services and Co-location and is one of the four strategic pillars within the Vodafone enterprise strategy.
This role will span all products in the portfolio with a clear mandate to drive their success in the UK as well as providing comprehensive market requirements input into the global product strategy and roadmap.
You will drive the end-to-end life cycle management, product financial performance in the UK market as well as being responsible ensuring the implementation of the customer experience for the products to the design principle of 'Simply Brilliant'. Your main interfaces will be the go to market and sales teams in the Hosting & Cloud line of business and the sales, marketing and operational teams within Vodafone UK.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
Maximisation of sales revenues, market share, and profit margins in market.
Responsible for analysing market conditions and providing input into the definition of features or functions of the Hosting & IaaS portfolio. You will 'champion' the local market requirements into the global product team.
Providing at any time deep insight into product and performance, as well as analysis of relevant technology evolution, competition, market dynamics and major developments.
Taking accountability for new product development (not operational readiness), including defining features & benefits, T&Cs, pricing structure.
Sponsoring product related projects in quarterly planning processes.
Inputting into the desired operational customer experience including multi-channel environment.
Building & maintaining a strong relationship with all teams involved in the business unit's GTM (Go To Market) team. Providing clear direction relating to key product benefits and revenue opportunities for the product set and define information requirements for BI.
Creating and delivering operations and sales training materials.
You will have:
Proven experience within a product management or similar role..
Technical acumen (subject matter expertise) in Hosting & Infrastructure solutions area
Credible, influential and professional.
Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.

Desire and drive to continually improve tools and processes.
