We are currently looking for a Project Controller based in Warwick to work on a staff basis within the Water industry

Description Role Purpose:
To provide cost and scheduling services for all Project Management, Engineering, Construction and Construction Management work carried out on projects as required. To collate, analyse and present cost and scheduling data in support of the management and reporting needs of Project Managers.
Principal accountabilities:
* Primary point of contact for Programme Manager and Project Team for all matters relating to project schedules, costs and resources.
* Establish monitor and control cost forecasts at project level and programme level.
* Monitor current, and assess future resource needs for the project and programme, through analysis of work load at project level.
* Schedule, monitor and control resources, by role, at project level.
* Report Project Management information and Key Performance Indicators.
* Produce specific and detailed reports for Programme and Project Managers at Project & Programme level.
* Produce Earned Value Reports and explain variances to the Project Manager.
* Tailor Programme templates within Primavera using standardised WBS principles including all relevant Customer/Client Control Gates when developing project schedules.
* Maintenance and analysis of Level 3 schedule data.
* Identify slippages, significant float erosion and recommend recovery actions.
* Liaise with contractor and sub-contractor project controls as appropriate to ensure progress is reported accurately.
* Monitoring of actual progress/costs/hours against plan (Earned Value + SPI/CPI/SV/CV).
* Production of 'what ifs' e.g. to demonstrate impact of additional/less resource on project deliverables.
* Tracking and expediency of Change Control.
* Ensure local Change Management procedures & processes are adhered to.
* Ensure Risk is managed and monitored at project level within Primavera, in line with local procedures and processes.
Qualifications Experience and expertise:
* You will possess Project Planning & Control experience with a background in either Front End Engineering Design or Construction (Building/Engineering) Management.
Skills and competencies:
* Intermediate level computer skills and a good understanding and working knowledge of Primavera (P6) Client Application and a good knowledge of integrated project management systems (IPMS) and how they are used in conjunction with Primavera.
* Good understanding of Financial Accounting practices, Quantity Surveying & Contract Management.
* Good written, verbal and team work skills working with project team members and peers.
