12 month maternity contract
The Revenue Management Analyst is responsible for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization. As a member of the Revenue Management Department, you will have the opportunity to set strategic direction, determine pricing, create promotions, and explore new distribution opportunities. You will create and own the implementation of a business plan and product strategy. This role will deliver a range of activities aimed at profitable growth of the UK Market, within the global business.
Responsibilities will include:
Delivery of volume and yield performance against weekly track, for all product within remit.
Keeping updated on core revenue management system and process enhancements, developing on analytical capability.
Revenue interface for the UK market's promotional campaign messaging.
Responsible for development and communication of a strategic business plan for each product.
Communicate status of current business environment and strategies
Own the sourcing forecast, represent the market at sourcing calls and communicate outcome and actions to key stakeholders.
Ensure market track on all products represents changes in trends and accurately reflects year on year changes to product, special events and promotional activity.
Contribute towards internal communications and co-ordination of the market's promotional messages through major marketing campaigns
Own the liaison with overseas Revenue management teams, to agree pricing decisions in support of marketing activity, support the process through the communication to sales and delivery.
Determine and implement strategic pricing for each category.
Track competitor activity and policies and provide consistent weekly competitor analysis.
To be considered you will have:
University degree with focus in quantitative discipline preferred
Two to four years related experience in financial / business analysis or related field preferred
Must be able to demonstrate understanding of revenue management concepts and tools or basic economics
Demonstrated experience in project management
Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and problem identification.
Ability to collate, analyse and interpret revenue performance data
Ability to make strategic and tactical decisions with large financial impacts with minimal supervision
Ability to structure logically quantitative analyses of complex issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in global environment
Proficiency in advanced Excel, Brio Intelligence/Hyperion Studio, Word, and PowerPoint required and ability to manipulate data essential
Attention to detail required
