Pharmexx are recruiting for a National Account Manager to work with a Great Client
on a well established portfolio with significant opportunities for growth through
improved focus on trade relationships. Categories include OTC/Skincare/baby
healthcare.

You will be expected to build long term relationships and maximise sales with national accounts for the existing consumer product portfolio and potential new product acquisitions.

Key Accountabilities: ( but not limited to are : )


1. Delivering revenue and profit growth across all product categories in line with budget expectations within the consumer product portfolio
2. Category reviews and the analysis of opportunities to make recommendations for growth
3. Managing the trade marketing/promotional opportunities available to maximise sales growth. Progress POS and any SRP requirements with individual retailers.
4. Trading terms negotiation and management of trade spend within these accounts (new and existing) ; Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys, Waitrose, Co-Op, Pharmacy chains such as Boots, Superdrug and Lloyds, Baby stores ie Mothercare, Kiddicare, Toys'r'us
5. Work to develop relations with multiple online retailers and healthstore channels
6. Maintain pricing records and implement price increases as required
7. Ensure regular review of promotions and monitor the ROI
8. Manage any own label development opportunities with major retailers
9. Complete due diligence on the sales history and pricing on future acquisition research process as required
10. Utilise and manage the brandbank account for maximising the marketing our brands
11. Analyse account performance and forecast demand according to trends, seasonality and promotions

I am looking for :-


* Strong National Account Manager/Controller who has experience within a similar product category
* Proven track record of success in successful negotiations with key customers in the retail setting
* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, influencing ability with commercial acumen
* Financially competent and highly analytical
* Highly self-motivated
* The National Account Manager will need to be able to commit to be present in the head office on a regular basis to attend meetings etc, so you must be happy to commute to Wiltshire.

They are an international publicly owned pharmaceutical group listed on AIM, part of the London Stock Exchange. It was founded in 1998 and has its headquarters in the UK.
Their principal activities are the acquisition and licensing of mature pharmaceutical products and the marketing of those products. Its manufacturing, storage, logistics and sales forces are controlled by them but outsourced to leading specialist organisations in these fields.
