Shopper Marketing
Owing to a recent organisational change we are now seeking three Trade Shopper Marketers. Working within the Consumer Lifestyle sector, the Trade Shopper Marketer is responsible for annual in-store/shopper activation strategies as well as owning category management with selected retailers.
In terms of specific responsibilities the role-holder will be:
Identifying (with CMI): Shopper targets, needs, purchase barrier (for category & Philips), decision tree and insights to drive Philips conversion
Understanding and executing (with Marketing) the marketing strategies based local market activation plan
Developing by channel / retailer the point of purchase strategy & plans
Providing shopper input in the development of marketing and account plans
Creating brief and briefing agencies in developing materials (hardware/software) for in-store execution
Managing, tracking, and evaluating BLT budget to deliver effectiveness for in-store activation and Cat Man
Prioritizing of in-store activities in the CO through quarterly activity planning with CMM and KAM and monthly sales cycle planning with sales team.
Organizing new product trade introduction and support sales team in preparing trade presentation, organizing sales conference and trade events
Creating joint Shopper / Co-marketing programme with priority customers (jointly with KAM)
Selecting, evaluating, & managing 3rd party agencies for promoters/ merchandisers and BTL design agencies
Developing and executing integrated management framework of attracting, training, motivating, and retaining promoters and merchandisers. Also proactively training retailers personnel on Philips products
To be successful in role, you will have:
- Significant experience in a shopper marketing role and ideally experience as a KAM as well
- Experience in a fast-moving durable goods business would be of great benefit to you in role
- Experience of managing, tracking and evaluating ROI
- Ability to develop insights, market knowledge and marketing strategy
- Ability to create value-based propositions
- Ability to think from a broad business perspective, strategically and out-of-the box
- In terms of personal qualities you will be a strong team player with strong planning & organisational skills. You will also be an executor and ensure accuracy of work at all times. Managing business relationships at all organisational levels, displaying a creative and entrepreneurial approach
