THE ROLE
This is a 25 hour per week role, preferably with hours every weekday including both morning and afternoon time (i.e. M-F, 9-2).
In this position you will have the responsibility of picking and packing sample requests from our warehouse and arranging their shipment through our courier services. Also, you will be in charge of arranging all other company courier shipments and maintaining detailed and accurate records.
You'll be comfortable with handling pallet deliveries, up keeping warehouse storage and stock, and liaising with other teams in the Company to ensure all shipments and their related paperwork is run smoothly and efficiently.
As a rapidly expanding company, you will be someone who will develop with D3O, taking on more responsibility as opportunities arise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Arrange and set up daily shipments through the company's various couriers, including packaging shipments when necessary, using online and desktop software to book shipments and prepare international documentation.
* Organise the daily shipments of customer sample orders, including picking the items from the warehouse and packing them for shipment.
* Responsible for the organisation and upkeep of warehouse storage area, reporting to the Supply Chain Team.
* Work with incoming couriers to receive shipments and alert the appropriate recipients.
* Arrange the storage of larger or heavier items, and items being held longer term. Unpack and restock sales samples and deliveries.
* Maintain internal record-keeping systems.
The preferred candidate will have:
* Some experience of working in a warehouse and/or with shipping, but a quick mind and a willingness to learn is equally acceptable.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and acceptable computer skills.
* A roll up their sleeves, figure it out, get stuck in, type of approach to their work.
Fluent spoken and written English is required, although additional languages are welcome.
