Our client is an international award winning Distribution Company
Day to Day duties will include the following:
* Managing staff to ensure that daily work is carried out in line with company procedures and standards
* Allocate daily work-load to team members to ensure all schedules are achieved
* Ensure regular team briefings are undertaken on a weekly basis
* To accurately input any manual orders onto Proteus as per each Clients requirements and record the relevant order number on the hard copy
* To process through any EDI orders from Atlas through to Proteus, record the correct order number, monitor any stock shortages and allocate stock according to each client's needs
* Completion of pallet labels, according to the relevant transport requirements, print and make available in time for the warehouse / despatch team to attach to the pallets in order that the vehicles leave Oakland on time
* Completion of ASN's as per Customer's specification specifications, print and copy along with completing the relevant daily SSCC for each depot, printing, faxing and then ensuring the information is attached to the relevant delivery note envelope
* To ensure all delivery notes are kept up to date on a daily basis, ensure all notes are checked against orders, sent out in the correct envelopes
* To accurately input goods into system (Proteus) checking intakes against client's delivery paperwork and to scan a copy to inform the customer of receipt
* To actively check emails being received within the department, investigate and respond where necessary
* Encourage team members to develop and learn
* Build working relationships with peers and work colleagues both within the department and throughout the company
* Operate to high moral, personal and appearance standards and encourage team to do the same.
* Maintain personal and staff discipline, time keeping and morale of the team
* Ensure staff work within health and safety guide lines
