As the IT Systems Developer / DevOps, we are looking for a motivated and technically skilled individual to work for a financial technology company who invest both time and money in the latest technologies. As the IT Systems Developer / DevOps, are looking for a software developer to join the IT Infrastructure team. The group is charged with maintaining, improving and securing the IT infrastructure of the firm, and this role will be pivotal to achieving this goal. You will be working on high-profile projects that integrate with existing systems, yet the design and implementation of these projects will be driven by you.

As the IT Systems Developer / DevOps, you will be a challenging position that is of great importance to the organisation. You will be able to work with a high degree of autonomy and will utilise cutting-edge technologies. You will take control of the direction of the project, and will also regularly interact with professionals within diverse areas of the business.

As the IT Systems Developer / DevOps, you will be able to write software that takes data from numerous sources and present it in an interface that can be used by IT, Information Security and Business Management. We look for the best and brightest in all their teams and this role is no exception. This role would suit a developer looking to contribute to the operational success of an algorithmic trading firm. The role involves a mix of GUI and back-end development, which means that the role will have a lot of variety. As the IT Systems Developer / DevOps you will have:

Good interpersonal skills, as you will be liaising with team members on a regular basis.
An appreciation of good software architecture and core algorithms & data structures.
An excellent academic record - good A-level results combined with a degree in Computer Science or similar

- Relational Database experience (MS SQL)
- Strong C# development skills
- Silverlight and/or WPF
