About the role
Following a review of Legal Services and as a result of internal promotion we are looking to appoint a Principal Lawyer with a proven track record in planning and highways law. You will manage a group of lawyers dealing with highways and planning agreements, town and village green applications and road traffic orders and you will also be the main legal adviser to the Council’s planning committee.
About you
You will have experience of managing and supporting staff and if you have knowledge of local government that will be an asset. You will form part of the Legal Services management team with the opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of the service and meeting the council’s objectives.
