My client is a B2B Telecoms & IT Services company and is expanding its IT Support & Managed Services area due to client demand.

The role:
The company would like to appoint a dedicated IT Business Development person to win new business customers & develop its existing customer base.
You will be tasked with developing a network of business customers across Central London.
The role is varied, covering the full sales cycle: prospecting new business both via telephone and face-to-face; account management; developing relationships with key decision-makers; telemarketing; business networking etc.
In due course we will appoint junior sales people who will report to you. Their service offering is tailored to meet the requirements of their customers and it is their aim to provide these solutions at competitive prices.
Your background:
* You will have a proven track record of sales in an IT sales or IT services environment, with a passion for technology and an ambition for a career in IT sales / sales management.
* Experience in selling IT support / IT services will be a distinct advantage.
* An understanding of cloud computing is an advantage - this is an ideal opportunity for you to move your career in this direction.
* Presentable appearance with excellent communication skills with the ability to present to clients in face-to-face situations
* Ability to build strong customer relationships

The salary carries a realistic OTE of £60k (including a basic salary of around £30k, maybe more) and also a genuine opportunity to earn more in due course.

You will work alongside the MD who can mentor you and assist in sales opportunities.
You will need to travel to clients and prospects - in the West End/City mainly.
The office is based in the West End very close to Oxford Circus.
