Thornage Hall is run by an independent charity situated in 70 acres of the idyllic North Norfolk countryside. We provide a meaningful residential and working environment for adults, some with special needs. We offer work and skills learning opportunities as well as social, artistic and therapeutic activities where everybody participates to the best of their abilities.


We are looking for a House Co Ordinator to provide live in support in one of our houses for adults with learning disabilities.   You will be experienced in promoting independent  living and person centred planning, ideally with a qualification in health and/or social care and/or past experience in an organisation providing care and support to vulnerable adults.  You will be responsible for co ordinating activities in the house to maintain our excellent standards of care, including supervision of volunteers.

 This role provides an opportunity for a dynamic social care worker to live and work in a unique person centred environment with an emphasis on environmental sustainability through traditional arts & crafts and a bio-dynamic farm.

The successful applicant must undergo a CRB check and have a good understanding of working with vulnerable adults.  They will need be a good team player, be resilient to the constantly changing working environment and able to work on their own initiative.
