Job Description
Our travel category is growing quickly, and we are seeking a driven sales manager to lead our southern UK sales team. Based out of our office in London, you will lead the sales team to secure commitment from the most popular and desirable accommodation & holiday partners/providers.

Responsibilities
Our Regional Sales Manager for the South will have responsibility for:
-Leading the Southern travel sales team alongside the Northern Regional Sales Manager; you will very much lead from the front in terms of individual sales delivery but you will also be responsible for the collective pipeline.
-Individually, you will sell a new social-media advertising / distribution channel to a handpicked set of accommodation, holiday, airline and other travel partners.
-Naturally, as the Southern Regional Sales Manager, you will be expected to successfully target and manage their larger, more complex and more strategic accounts.
-You will performance manage the individual Staff members
-You will negotiate the absolute best rates and deal structures on the travel experiences; ensuring that LivingSocial members enjoy one-of-kind trips and offers
-You will be responsible for communicating ongoing contact and sales activities utilising Salesforce as well as providing documentation on new client acquisitions to the operations team.
-You will be responsible for the travel sales goals and your own individual quarterly and annual sales targets.
Requirements
Our Regional Sales Manager shall possess:
-A strong track record in sales and sales leadership within the travel/hospitality/tourism industry; with prior experience in sales or partner-relationship management roles.
-A robust network of industry contacts, ensuring expedient development of a high-quality merchant pipeline.
-Excellent prospecting, negotiation, and sales skills.
-Strong written/oral communication and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to articulate ideas clearly and appropriately based on audience.
-The ability to be innovative, team-oriented, and have a collaborative personality, able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities change quickly.
-Willingness to travel and have your own transportation.
