Due to an internal restructure, a leading UK employer, based in North Nottinghamshire, is looking to recruit a Procurement Contracts Officer.
Working within the procurement team you will be responsible for managing all procurement and contracting activity for the site, managing specific categories such as mechanical and electrical goods, contracting services, contract labour and civil engineering services. You will deliver exceptional value to the business through the effective management of the procurement process as well as ensuring compliance with the company procurement procedures.

Responsibilities of this role include:
** Manage and evaluate competitive tenders for the supply of goods and services
** Contract drafting
** Negotiate with suppliers on commercial and contractual matters
** Management of suppliers to ensure performance standards are not compromised
** Provide an effective procurement service to managers
** Achieve defined cost saving targets
The successful candidate will be MCIPS qualified, or can demonstrate that they are working towards this and will Ideally have procurement experience within the mining, engineering (mechanical & electrical), construction or civil engineering sectors.
