The Client:

Equally, their global footprint enables them to offer world-class standards through a network of local operations. At the same time, they believe it important to benchmark themselves against established standards.

For this reason they have been operating the company in accordance with the major internationally known quality, environmental, and health and safety accreditations. While this started with a well established business unit, the process will be adopted across all their locations with a view to having all facilities accredited to an appropriate standard.

The Role:

My client is looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineering biased Graduate who wants to progress into a Project Engineer. The role will develop into the following: To deliver engineered non-standard products. To provide technical support to all other departments and facilities as required. To provide training internally and externally as required.

Key Responsibilities:

-To evaluate customer requirements and communicate them to all parties in the organisation.
-To understand the project and contractual obligations.
-To manage multiple projects with a varied degree of complexity from the point of order to the point of delivery.
-To report financial and technical status of the projects allocated.
-To forecast delivery based on projected resource through liaison with all departments.
-To provide technical and engineering support to all departments as required.
-To represent the client at customer meetings on our premises and off site as required.
-To support the delivery of training.
-To work in a manner that protects the health, safety and welfare of yourself and others.
-Actively participate in Company improvement initiatives including LEAD.
-To adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

Required Capabilities:

-Minimum HND mechanical engineering or local equivalent preferred.
-Good mechanical engineering knowledge.
-Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, influencing and organizational skills.
-Team and goal oriented.
-Strong analytical skills coupled with practical, hands on problem solving approach.
-High energy and drive.
-IT literate with specific experience using Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint programs.
-Fluent in written and spoken English.
