Kier Services - Environmental is currently seeking an LGV Driver/Loader for our environmental service based in Chelveston, East Northants.

Main Purpose of the Job:
The post holder may be involved in working in any area of current or future operations, including but not limited to Refuse Collection, Recycling, Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance and any other duties that may required.

Duties will include the driving of vehicles or plant and/or working manually in support of the services, working towards providing a high quality, cost effective service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities or Tasks:

• To establish working relationships with Managers, Supervisors and other staff.
• To carry out your responsibilities in an efficient and safe manner, ensuring that Health & Safety Matters are at the forefront at all times.
• To ensure that when driving, all daily vehicle checks are carried out and that the vehicle is driven in a safe and courteous manner, and that the vehicle remains within legal tolerances at all times.
• Ensuring that all operational work is carried out to specification and to the complete satisfaction of your Supervisors and client officers.
• To ensure that all allocated works are completed within the notified timescales and that your Supervisor is notified prior to leaving the workplace.
• To behave at all times in a manner that is befitting of a Kier Services employee and that you do not act in a manner which may bring the Company, The Client or its agents into disrepute.
• To ensure that you follow the instructions of any authorised person at all times.

The Individual:
Previous experience is essential.
Must hold a valid Category C licence.
