Sales and marketing assistant needed for successful FMCG Company based in Knutsford, Cheshire.
The team at PA Ross are looking for an ambitious, driven and hardworking individual to join a very successful sales and marketing team who specialise in selling bakery and frozen food within the UK food industry.
We have strong working relationships with all the top major multiples within the UK and we are looking for a sales and marketing assistant to join with us to help support our sales team in order to deliver our substantial growth plan.
We are looking for a bright individual who can grow with us to become an integral part of our business. You will be supported throughout your career with PA Ross to progress within the team and there is opportunity for the right candidate.
The position will be split between a sales support role and a marketing assistant role.

As part of the support role you will be expected to;
* Manage the correspondence between the sales team and their clients
* Provide assistance in gathering data and generating sales reports to support the team.
* Keep track of sales targets
* Answer phone calls
* Schedule diaries
* Keep projects moving forward through critical path management
You will be expected to conduct a range of tasks on the marketing side;
* Conduct market reviews on a seasonal basis
* Write press releases
* Design adverts for publications such as leaflets, flyers mail outs and posters
* Assist in designing and coordinating presentations for clients
* Assisting in category management

Essential skills
* Good written and verbal English
* Computer skills - Microsoft office and design packages such as Photoshop, illustrator and InDesign.
* Good customer care skills
* Good administrative skills
* An ability to work independently and as a team
* Quick to learn
* Proactive

The role is based from our office in Knutsford but will involve some travel; the individual will need a clean driving licence and will ideally be a car owner.
The role is full time and experience in sales and or food would be beneficial but not essential.
Salary dependant on experience £20,000 - £25,000 pa including 25 days holiday.
