A leading food manufacturing business with an estate of brand names and 8 manufacturing sites in the UK are currently aggressively expanding and are looking a Head of Procurement and a Group Procurement Manager. The main focus of the Head of Procurement is to manage packaging and co maufacturing and the Group Procurement Manager is to look after processed foods.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement category management approaches for all addressable spend, ensuring that all category spend is compliant with the Group Procurement Standard Operating Procedures.
-Provide timely and appropriate response to stakeholders to meet their business needs. To lead them, where appropriate, in providing innovative solutions to sourcing needs.
-Develop, agree and report robust KPIs and savings measurement with the Business Unit to demonstrate bottom line impact year on year.
-Contribute to the annual budget, quarterly and monthly BU reviews. Take accountability for pricing review processes with the Commercial Team. Facilitate the timely flow of information between the BU and Group Category Managers to ensure that the BU and Procurement objectives are aligned and delivered.
-Develop and implement the category management approach for all addressable spend within the Indirect category, ensuring that all category spend is compliant with the Group Procurement Standard Operating Procedures.

Preferably you will come from a strong strategic procurement background within the FMCG, Food, Automotive or Aerospace industry; being able to provide strategic procurement guidance to the Senior Management Team.
