Macildowie are searching for a dynamic Insight Analyst to join a progressive retail business in Staffordshire. This new role has been created through growth and is pivotal to the success of the organisation. The successful candidate will most likely be degree educated and on the upward curve of their career. Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Customer Insight Manager, you will work closely with Category and Brand teams and lead range reviews and processes.
- You will analyse space and performance data in order to prepare merchandising plans for retail stores.
- You will work closely with retailers in a customer facing role, engaging with them regarding proposals and ongoing projects.
- You will be responsible for building, maintaining and analysing planograms using space planning software.
- You will work to develop and deliver best practice range and merchandising principles and also maintain a date images and product library.

The Individual:
- Proven experience of working in Space Planner or Merchandising roles, gained in either a retailer or supplier / manufacturer environment.
- Proven experience of working with customer loyalty data to help optimise Macro space decisions.
- Demonstrable category management knowledge coupled with excellent project management skills.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Proactive with a creative approach to problem solving.
- Highly organised, you will be able to plan and prioritise your workload in a fast paced environment and be able meet strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of Nielsen Space Planning, Category Management and/or leading Space Management or publication software.
- Experience and/or certified in leading space management tools such as AutoCAD
- Demonstrable experience working with large amounts of customer data in a retail environment and be able to work with the Head of CRM and the CRM Manager to recommend and deliver opportunities to improve acquisition and retention of customers.
