Management Accountant required to join £60m turnover, global leading manufacturing business. This is a new role which has grown out of succession planning and is one which offers further scope for personal development in the future.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will prepare and report in a timely and accurate manner various reports, statistics, forecasts and budgets as required to help achieve the aims of the Company's business plan.
The main responsibilities of the Management Accountant will be to:
* Provide accurate and timely daily, weekly, monthly and annual information, statistics for management control and preparation of reports and accounts.
* Prepare monthly sales figures/standard margins/order statistics for inclusion in accounts.
* Prepare and control provisions and accruals such that monthly accounts provide an accurate picture.
* Prepare all necessary budgets and forecasts to group timetables
* Costing duties and spares pricing as required
* Reconciling all necessary accounts
* Documentation and testing of systems and controls.
* Control designated categories of stock including physical stocktakes.
* Assist the Finance Director in all aspects of the work of the department.
* Contribute to team spirit to achieve the team's goals.
The Management Accountant should be qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
You must be able to communicate effectively with various levels of management and staff, be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and be computer literate.
