Newman Stewart is a privately owned recruitment company who provide Executive Search, Management Selection and Psychometric Assessment Services.

Our client is a leading supplier to national and independent retailers both nationally and internationally. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, our client operates in over 70 countries and can offer long-term stability and career development.

They are wishing to recruit a National Account Manager to look after existing customers, helping to achieve all budgeted sales and margin targets to achieve sustainable growth, whilst shaping and implementing strategies for particular key customer/ retail channels within the UK retail business unit. You will be required to work closely with managed accounts creating effective communication channels with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for P & L, NPD, Category and promotional planning within a specific account base in retail. You will maintain and develop a network within existing and new customers.

You will be an enthusiastic character who is self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative. With outstanding negotiation and influencing skills you will be able to confidently develop effective business relationships with category buyers and directors. You will be highly numerate and be able to demonstrate a solid commercial acumen allowing you to operate at the highest levels of integrity.
