As the UK's largest mutual life and pensions company, Royal London is entering a new and exciting period, launching a direct to consumer proposition. MoneyVista, part of the consumer proposition, is a recently launched E-commerce business that provides a unique online service which helps individuals create and maintain their own financial plan.

Reporting to the Head of Systems for MoneyVista, the Web Design & User Experience Manager will embed first class user experience design at the heart of all our customer journey developments, bringing to life our consumer propositions. Working closely with the business, specialist digital agencies and our IT development team you will use your strong research and design skills to understand user needs and produce concepts/solutions/designs that people want to use and which support our propositions.

The Consumer Division is a start-up environment operating within a complex established business requiring the ability to build commercial momentum and profitable growth.

Key skills and experience: Experience of providing user interface and user experience designs for public-facing web sites Experience in designing for multiple device categories, including desktop, phone and tablet Experience in/familiarity of the following technologies: HTML (inc HTML 5) CSS (inc CSS3) Asynchronous techniques (AJAX, JSON, ect) Good knowledge of SEO: Understands principles of SEO and how these need to be incorporated into site design and structure Experience of using tools to help determine how a site can improve its SEO effectiveness Experience of creating digital assets such as Video, HTML email, Infographics and Podcasts Understanding of web accessibility standards and evidence of having used these in web design This is a truly exciting opportunity to have a real impact in an organisation with a genuine desire to deliver innovative solutions to meet their customer needs.
