Description:
The award winning JCPR Entertainment & Culture team are looking for an AE to provide efficient and effective support in their fast paced environment.
The main focus of this role across a range of accounts for well-known brands and new business wins will be:
The coordination of media relations
Pitching stories to media and securing coverage
Managing press lists
Writing press releases, competition copy, status reports
Producing coverage reports and coverage updates for clients
Managing product loaning to media and product placement in press and radio
Providing team with admin support including research for projects
Generating ideas and demonstrating creativity
Support in event planning and logistics
AE’s are an integral part of any good consumer PR team, and we are looking for someone with:
Previous relevant experience across a variety of consumer brands
Ability to identify and generate coverage across print, broadcast and online platforms and creatively think of and place stories across a range of media sectors
Writing experience, including competently writing press releases, copy, reports, media alerts and client emails
Experience in working in a busy press office, including proactive product placement
A portfolio of editorial coverage (news and features not just product placement) personally generated and good relationship with journalists across print, broadcast and online media
Experience in planning and implementing events
Mounting coverage, media evaluation and analysis know-how
Experience in supporting a team with administrative tasks
Proven enjoyment in working in a fast paced environment
In addition, they would be:

The ideal person will have some sort of English, writing or PR qualification, matched with creative flair and an eye for detail. They will be motivated and ready to do whatever it takes to ensure JCPR continues to deliver award winning campaigns.
