My client is a creative agency whose core services are brand strategy, advertising, digital, PR, social and CRM.
Much of their work is multichannel and in the last 18 years they have delivered campaigns for both category leaders and challenger brands alike, both here in the UK and globally.
They are incredibly proud of their client and staff retention rates, miles above industry standard for both.
They have worked very hard to foster an environment and culture in which individuality, creativity and entrepreneurship is encouraged.
They are a pretty laid back bunch, they take what they do seriously, but not themselves.
They don't do egos.
They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team, reporting directly to the founding partners.
As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:-
- Creating and delivering the business development strategy
- Working closely with the board and department leads to develop effective new business opportunities
- Developing the PR and Marketing plans to raise the agency's profile globally
- Managing the new business lead gen agency relationship
- Achieving and exceeding the new business targets
- Responding to all RFIs, RFPs and tenders
- For all incoming business opportunities
As the Business Development Manager you will:-
- Have a proven track record of winning new business in a similar agency
- Have a good understanding of the creative industry
- Be an effective relationship builder and a strong networker
- Be proficient in briefing creative studios/teams with real clarity and precision
- Be the king of content creation and be able to garner insights and information from senior colleagues to create content pieces
- Have a strong understanding of the digital landscape. Digital agency background is an advantage.
