Solution Sales Professional Unified Comms:
As a Communications Solution Specialist you will evangelize the business value of the Microsoft Unified Communications products and services with our enterprise customers to drive net new sales and enterprise adoption of Lync.
You will partner with pre-sales technical experts, partners as well as extended Solution Specialists and Account Teams to identify sales opportunities and develop multi-faceted strategies to drive in your accounts.
Your territory will be the complete CAM-S Commercial set of accounts (circa 350 accounts) therefore critical to your success will be prioritizing and qualifying key accounts.

Key Accountabilities:
• Demonstrate the business case of deploying Microsoft Lync Conferencing and Voice technologies to our Enterprise customers to deliver against core revenue and metric based goals on a quarterly accountability basis. Demonstrate sales acumen and drive by owning at least 60% of all opportunities in CRM.
• Own and complete territory analysis and subsequent account plans to identify whitespace gaps, competitive threats & compelling customer events that will drive opportunity.
• Develop a healthy and sustainable Lync pipeline of qualified Lync opportunities based on the analysis and planning outlined above. Sustain minimum 150% pipeline coverage for the FY at all times, on a quarterly basis.
• Display outstanding operational excellence – including monthly/quarterly forecasting, CRM entry and hygiene, opportunity management and virtual team orchestration.
• Create compete plans for relevant accounts. Become a subject matter expert in our compete strategies and execute effectively to dislodge our major Unified Communications competitors.
• Articulate and leverage our partner ecosystem in opportunities to drive the end to end customer solution.
• Ensure effective hand-offs to the appropriate resources with the Account and Partner Sales Teams at the appropriate phase of the sales process, with measures in place to track the total cost-of-sale and deal velocity.

Required Experience:
• Strong Unified Communications technical knowledge and solution selling experience required.
• Proven skills in managing a complex set of accounts, including forecasting, quota attainment, and account planning
• Strong negotiation, organizational, presentation, written, product demo and verbal communication skills.
• Great leadership skills and a strong passion for driving business,
• Customer focused and sincere commitment to delivering high customer value through your work.
• Deal well with ambiguity and are comfortable with creating opportunity from it.
• In-depth technical and business value knowledge of Microsoft and competitive technologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in major Voice, Data & Video technologies and the customer decision processes.

Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred
