A hospitality/leisure group based in the Berkshire area are looking for an IT Support Technician to provide 1st/2nd line support for internal users across their sites based in the London Heathrow & Berkshire area.
This is a Microsoft Windows environment and you will be required to provide face to face support to PC users.
The role will also involve monthly scheduled visits to each site to run server & infrastructure equipment health checks and weekly visits to deal with general basic IT issues.

For more complex IT issues there will be support from other service providers but candidates must be comfortable providing support for the software & systems.

To be suitable you will have strong trouble shooting skills and aptitude for resolving problems in a considerate, responsible and proactive manner with a proven track record of being able to work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:
- Working in a Windows and Microsoft Server environment
- Installation of all desktops, network/local printers and devices
- Anti-Virus protection (McAfee & Microsoft Security Central)
- Backups & restores (Symantec)
- Monthly health checks across sites including regular checks of event logs
- Manage own work schedules and prioritisation, including regular site visits
- Work with and manage all external IT support groups
- Purchase order management of IT equipment & services
- Manage systems with Internet/Intranet connectivity

The basic salary for this role is £20-24,000. You must be a driver with own car and full clean licence. Mileage will be paid during working hours.
