As the North West based Assistant Pricing Manager, you will be accountable for:
- Conducting analysis and research for buyers to review pricing strategy
- Influencing buyers to make appropriate strategic price changes to all categories
- Governing pricing strategy and rules weekly, in order to make tactical price changes so that my client's price position meets customer expectations
- Working cross-functionally with Finance, Trading and Data Management to collate feedback, monitor price changes and produce final pricing files
- Constantly analysing the marketing to review competitor pricing activity and gathering information to develop my client's future strategy.

The successful candidate for the Assistant Pricing Manager will ideally have
knowledge/experience of pricing techniques, strategies and working in or alongside a Buying team.

You will also require:
- Strong Excel and data skills
- Previous experience in a retail environment
- The ability to understand the commercial impact of pricing decisions and stakeholder management
- Understanding of customer motivations, behaviours and basic understanding of customer segmentation
- Good influencing and collaboration skills
- Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
- Attention to detail, problem solving and the ability to think wider across various stakeholder areas
