An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Marketing / E-Commerce Director to join a leading retailer based in Sutton on Trent, Nottingham. The Sales and Marketing / E-Commerce Director will be involved with the planning, coordination and control of all Sales, Marketing and E-Commerce processes ensuring that goods, services and resources are marketed and sold effectively and efficiently and that sales and marketing expenditure is at the right cost to the company and customer. The Sales and Marketing / E-Commerce Director will be responsible for ensuring the team meets quality standards and there is compliance to internal systems together with appropriate legislation. The right candidate will be driven and passionate about their role.
The successful Sales and Marketing / E-Commerce Director will have experience in the following areas:
- Extensive commercial knowledge preferably within sales and manufacturing
- Engage in strategic planning sessions for the Sales, Buying and Marketing departments
- Negotiating contracts, payment terms and delivery schedules with new clients
- Identifying and pursuing new commercial opportunities and revenue growth strategies
- Overseeing the digital marketing strategies ensuring effective promotion of the company through all contact points
- Creating and working to Sales forecasts, reacting to upcoming events and changes in the market
- Implementing and managing change management strategies
- The successful Operations Manager must have the following skills and experience:
- Be educated to degree level, business preferential
- Broad background in commercial activities within an E-Commerce and manufacturing environment
- Experience of managing a small start up team
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Experience of social media campaigns, SEO and PPC
The salary for the Sales and Marketing / E-Commerce Director is £75-85K per annum.
